Get it here (non easy install version only!)

Installation Instructions: Unpack the zip in your UFO ET directory. Warning: Installing this mod will overwrite Bman's files with my own. I've tested them on my machine, but this is still a beta release. Please have a backup handy of Bman's 3.14 in case you want to revert.

Note: If someone wants to package it up in a .xbig file, I'd be most appreciative.

Status: New explosive grenades are completed. Please download and give it a try!. Please make comments on balance and bugs.

Intended Purpose: The idea behind this expansion pack is to modify currently existing equipment for balancing purposes and add new items to the game. New items will help add variety to the game and fill in some missing items in the equipment structure. If you have any suggestions you'd like to see in the game, please feel free, and I'll take them under advisement.

Changelog:
0.01: Added Incendiary Grenade code to Bman's 3.09 aliens.xscr and config.xsv
0.01: Tested grenade in battle, seems to work
0.01: Naming doesn't work yet. Need to work this out before adding other items.
0.02: Got naming working correctly
0.02: Added Plasma Rocket Successfully. However, research is not yet ready.
0.02: Tested plasma rocket in game, plasma effects work!
0.02: Learned how to take different parts of two different weapons and use them to make a new one!
0.03: Established methodology as to how to add research.
0.03: Preliminary coding for Incendiary Grenade and Plasma Rocket complete.
0.03: testing will commence this evening. If successful, more items should be easy to add based on an existing template for grenades and rockets as well as chemical ammunition.
0.04: Research testing began last night. I got two research entries to partially work. Plasma Missile and Incendiary Grenade.
0.04: Research itself works, but the prerequisites aren't working and the items don't show up for building in the production screen. Still looking for bugs. Updating research document to version 1.1
0.05: Found some entries I was missing in config.xsv. Added those in.
0.05: Added in the missing field item.otherData = "weapons.Pweapons.xgrenadeIncindiary";
0.05: Tested research without prerequisites added. Works, except research graphic is off...
0.05: Tested production after research. Works exactly as intended.
0.05: Tested both items in game after producing them. Both work fine.
0.05: Still stumped on the research prerequisites. I'm sure there's something really obvious I'm missing.
0.06: FOUND THE RESEARCH BUG! STAMPED IT OUT! Per Bman's instructions, I found out that I was adding the prereq to the wrong data matrix. Duh. It all makes sense now.
0.06: Added research item (that works) to Bman's 3.13.
0.06: Added dummy research screen for the Phosphorus Grenade
0.06: Tested research item....bugs! GRAAAAAAAAH
0.06: Fixed errors in research and UFOPedia entries. Both now work!
0.10: Created standardized entry blocks for use of further expansion of all equipment. Code placement and creation should not be much faster.
0.50: Added Ion Grenade and research
0.60: Added AKEW Grenade and research
0.70: Added EEEW Grenade and research
0.80: Added Antimatter Grenade and research
0.90: Fixed bugs in new UFOpedia descriptions.

This sounds like an Great mod... i wish i knew how to get it to work.. im usen b-man's easy instal 3.14 mod.. i tried to use this one... but i cant get it to work =( Hopefully some one will beable to make it an easy install once its out of its beta stage.. i love new earth type wepaons and the flame thrower is one of my favorite in the game so far...


The idea of the plasma rockets sounds great! it makes it so the rocket launcer isnt out dated so fast!! i love incinerary rockets... my fav also... burn and cook them aliens =).

oh i can't wait !

Oh Nm i got it to work...

after messen around for a while. =)

so far i got the Anti matter grenade and the incinerary one... but i seemed to have passed up the other gernades? im at the end of the game just need to fly to earth.. i was wondering did i miss something or did i do something wrong while putting in the mode in to the folders?

thanks for the help with such *newbie* questions.

Im loven the Antimatter bomb though atm
